Social Responsibility
We conduct social responsibility projects to ensure that all children in our country have access to more equitable and higher-quality education, and we support their creativity.
As Adel Kalemcilik, driven by our core value of “Goodness” and our vision to make a meaningful impact on the lives of everyone who aspires to shape and enrich their dreams, we implement numerous impactful projects while also supporting existing social initiatives. In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we prioritize projects that benefit society, particularly those focused on Quality Education and Climate Action, under our Goodness Tree Corporate Social Responsibility framework.
Quality Education
Since 2016, under the umbrella of our corporate social responsibility platform İyilik Ağacı (Goodness Tree), we have been providing stationery supplies to children in need through collaborations with various non-profit organizations.
- In cooperation with Fazla and the Food Rescue Association, we have delivered stationery and toy donations to nearly 50,000 children living in village schools, tent cities, and underserved neighborhoods across 20 provinces — including those affected by the earthquake. Through the AKUT Search and Rescue Association, we also supported children in earthquake-affected regions by distributing nearly 20,000 stationery items and toys.
- Aligned with our goal of becoming a Trusted Educational Partner, we launched the Creative Children, Creative Minds Education Workshops in 2012 in collaboration with the Teacher Academy Foundation. Through this initiative, we have provided training to approximately 12,000 teachers and supported the creative development of thousands of children.
Climate Action
- We continue our efforts in the area of climate action without interruption.
- We actively explore alternative resources to prevent the depletion of natural resources and work to reduce our corporate carbon footprint in pursuit of net-zero targets. All our wood-based products are made from FSC®-certified (FSC® C130058) trees cultivated for industrial use. At our Çayırova production facility, rainwater is utilized for garden irrigation, and all production and office waste is recycled in accordance with circular economy principles.
